Description
Key Features:
Pallet of 6 x 30m² Rolls: Ideal for large-scale projects with ample coverage.
Quick & Easy Installation: The matting is designed for straightforward application, reducing installation time.
3-Layer Construction: With a unique 3-layer design, the mat provides superior decoupling and crack-bridging properties.
Crack-Bridging: Effectively bridges small cracks in the substrate, ensuring that they do not transfer to the tiles.
Thickness: 3mm, providing optimal decoupling and support for the tiles.
Water Vapour Pressure Compensation: The mat channels created by its nodules allow for the equalization of water vapour pressure, making it perfect for areas with residual moisture.
Why Choose Dural Durabase CI++?
The Dural Durabase CI++ Decoupling Mat is a robust solution for renovation work where substrate conditions might not be ideal. It prevents cracks from transferring to the tiles and offers a high-performance decoupling layer. Whether you’re working with cement screeds, anhydrite screeds, plywood, or even wooden floorboards, this mat is highly versatile, making it an essential tool for tiling in various environments.
Material & Durability:
High-Quality Polypropylene: Made from yellow polypropylene, the mat features mesh fabric and a backing fleece for enhanced durability and stability.
Chemical Resistance: Resists various chemicals, such as salts, acids, and alkali, in low concentrations. For areas with high chemical exposure, a preliminary check of conditions is recommended.
Installation Tips:
Trowel Recommendation: For optimal adhesion, use a 4mm x 4mm notched trowel to fix the CI++ matting to the substrate. This ensures strong bonding and prevents any movement.
Tile Selection: This mat is not suitable for thin or large-format tiles (such as slimline tiles), as it may lead to breakage. For best results, use tiles at least 13mm thick in high-stress areas.
Mat Joints: When joining mats, use sealing tape for a secure and seamless finish.
Suitable Substrates:
Cement screed
Calcium sulphate screed (anhydrite screed)
Hot screeds
Mastic asphalt screeds
Concrete
Synthetic laminates and coatings
Plywood and chipboard
Wooden floorboards
